How I Got Here
My path to finance has been anything but ordinary — exploring the extremities and intersections of the arts, social justice, wellness, and Trauma-Informed Care. Each step deepened my understanding of human behavior and shaped my mission: to bring humanity back into money and help more people use it as a tool for freedom.

First Career: Theatre Artist
I haven’t always been a financial planner. In fact, finance is my third career. Before this, I spent over 15 years as a working theatre artist and social justice facilitator — acting, directing, teaching, making music, devising original works, and creating experiences that moved communities forward.
Second Career: Yoga and Meditation Teacher
From there, I built a six-year career as a yoga and meditation teacher. I taught classes, trained teachers, co-ran a studio, and eventually launched a corporate and private wellness coaching business. That work gave me a front-row seat to the ways stress, self-worth, and emotional health shape our choices — lessons I carry directly into my financial planning today.
At first glance, theatre, yoga, and finance don’t have much in common. But the truth is, every step was about the same thing: helping people connect more deeply to themselves, find their voice, and live with more freedom.
Third Career: Holistic Financial Planner
When I entered the financial world, I immediately saw how much room there was to do things differently. Money is so often treated as cold and transactional, just numbers on a spreadsheet. But it's not. For most of us, it's deeply emotional. Money shapes our choices, our relationships, our sense of security, and even our ability to dream.
That’s why I bring emotional intelligence and a decade of experience in Trauma-Informed Care into every financial plan I build. Emotions drive behavior, and behavior drives results. The numbers matter, but so does how you feel when you sit across from me.

My goal isn’t just to help you “grow wealth.” I want to help you align your money with your values so it becomes a reflection of what matters most. I want you to feel safe, empowered, and maybe even a little excited when you think about your finances (yes, it’s possible!)
This work lets me blend my love of strategy with my passion for human connection and impact, and it gives me a front-row seat to watch people transform their lives. That’s the real magic.
These days, I keep my creative side alive through various performance opportunities, making music, creative community-building, and a daily yoga and meditation practice I’ve maintained since 2010. I love being outdoors in beautiful Colorado, cooking, spending quality time with friends, and cuddling with my dog, Bodhi.
